*The EU Ecolabel The EU Ecolabel 1 is a voluntary scheme and producers, importers and retailers can apply for the label for their products. This systems applies life cycle thinking and the development of EU Ecolabel criteria for products and focuses on those life cycle stages in which the product has the highest environmental impact.
