Sizing and balancing In order to achieve quantitative basis data for the equipment sizing, a comprehensive stock-water-balance must be done in the early process design phase. Usually the stock portion is split into fibres, fillers (ash) and non-usable contaminants (trash). This is mandatory when dealing with recovered fibre in general and especially essential for stock
