We have updated the General Terms and Conditions of Use for ForestBioFacts.
These updates are linked to the upcoming launch of a new AI Assistant on the ForestBioFacts platform, which will go live on 15 April 2026. To support this new feature, we’ve added terms related to the use of AI, including product-related, privacy, and security aspects. You’ll hear more about the AI Assistant and how it can support your work and learning next week.
In addition, to provide greater clarity and transparency regarding the use of ForestBioFacts, we have updated the section on warranties and limitations of liability.
At the same time, we’ve made a small change to how ForestBioFacts is offered. We have discontinued the licence webshop for private users and will now focus on providing only organisational licences for universities, companies, and other organisations. This helps us better support learning at scale and develop the platform further.
You don’t need to take any action, but you’re welcome to review the updated General Terms and Conditions via this link. The updated terms will take effect on 15 April 2026.
