The increase in VAT as of 1 January 2025 in Finland

The VAT rate applied to printed and electronic books in Finland increased from 10 % to 14 % as of 1 January 2025. This change affects the taxable prices of Papermaking Science and Technology books and the ForestBioFacts learning environment licences when the purchaser is located in Finland. The new prices with the updated VAT rate will be reflected in purchases with delivery and due dates on or after 1 January 2025.
